About

Goal for this Website

This website and blog is all about studying and teaching good things. By God’s grace, I want to admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands that the Word of God may not be blasphemed. (Titus 2:4-5 NKJV — To read more about the version used on this website and for tips on reading plans and devotionals, please go to Bible)

Many of the young girls today have to start from scratch. That’s why I want to challenge and encourage us, the older women, to teach the younger women. First, we need to study the Word of God. Second, we have to live it. Third, we should pass on the wisdom and knowledge we have gained through God’s Word to the next generation.

Who is Writing for MirjamFels.com?

My pen name is Mirjam Fels. I’m in my 50s, a helpmeet, homemaker, and writer. Born and raised in Germany, I’m now living in the gorgeous Sunny South East of Ireland. I love studying the Christian faith, biblical womanhood, homemaking, home education, music, Ireland, dog training and writing.

Working as a Translator and Writer

Using the name Mirjam Fels I contributed to Wenn Kinder zu Hause zur Schule gehen (ISBN 9783933372871) by Thomas Mayer and Thomas Schirrmacher VTR. I researched about homeschooling in Germany, translated some texts from English to German, and wrote Zur Frage der Sozialisation.

In 2003 I translated two of the Trailblazer books guides. Unternehmen Auca – Nate Saint and Die Schlacht des Trommlers – Florence Nightingale were both published as eBooks by CLV Publishers.

While working for a Swiss Creation magazine I translated a few articles and wrote a movie review about Expelled.

From 2012 until 2015 I worked as a copywriter, translator, and ghost writer at an online platform. During the last year of this employment I was asked to write and translate texts that were not in line with my Christian faith. That’s why I cancelled my contract with my employer and left the online job.

Since 2015 I’m enjoying full-time homework and devoloping more homemaking skills. This also freed me of working hours and gave way to my own writing again. I’m currently writing a book about dog training in Christian perspective.
