And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.
For the LORD will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you His people.
Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.
Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
1 Samuel 12:21-24
LORD Jesus we praise You for You are a great God and mighty to save. Your name is above all names, and Your goodness leads to repentance. Hallelujah! Forgive us, O LORD we pray, whenever we focus on things which are temporary and of no importance. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on the Goodness of God, and enable us to consider what great things You have done for us. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.
Do not turn away from God because then you will waste time and go after the wrong things. Stay on the good path and do not get distracted.
Remember that the LORD, He is God. He is the One who has made us, and He knows what is best for His people. He said that He would not forsake His people for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased Him to make us His people. — What a promise!
Psalm 145:4 says that one generation shall praise His works to another and shall declare His mighty acts. So teach your children about God. Otherwise, how will they know? Train them up in the way they should go. Pray for them and with them. Tell them the good and the right way.
Most of all: Love the LORD your God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Fear and serve Him in truth with all your heart. ❤️
Consider and tell others what God has done for you today.
