And whatever you do,
do it heartily,
as to the Lord and not to men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance;
for you serve the Lord Christ.
LORD Jesus, we praise You for You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in it. Forgive us, O God we pray, whenever we look at all the wrong places for answers. Enable us to worship and serve You and not any creature or dead thing. Help us to believe in the everlasting God who is above all above all powers and above all created things. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
People celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, in Ireland and all around the world. This is not just a day to wear green, but this is a holiday when we remember the Saint who has come from Britain to Ireland to bring the Gospel to the Irish people. Hallelujah!
Who was Saint Patrick?
To find out more about a person it is best to meet with and get to know the person. That is not always possible, of course, and then an autobiography is a great alternative. So why not read his story in his own words? It’s available to read online or to download at Christian Classics Ethereal Library — The Confession of St. Patrick
If you and your children would rather read a story about him I would highly recommend this 7th-10th grade reader, published in 2010 and has been since updated (ISBN: 978-0-9822848-6-5) which is found at Christian Liberty Press — The Life and Legacy of Saint Patrick
You will also find an audiobook (of an earlier released version— 2005) of this reader Christianaudio.com — Saint Patrick: Pioneer Missionary to Ireland
No matter if you are reading his autobiography or a story about him, remember to keep this Saint at his right place.
Worship and serve God today.
