Complete Confidence

I love those who love me,
And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Proverbs 8:17

LORD Jesus, we praise You for You are above all powers. There is nothing that is out of Your control. Thank You for loving us. Enable us to trust and obey Your Word today and forevermore. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.

God says in His Word: I love those who love me. What a promise! What love and grace He has shown to us. He is the One who left His throne and came down to earth to die for our sins. Jesus is the One who carried the burden that we would have had to carry on our own. Most of all, He is the One who paid the death penalty that was overshadowing us to make the way for His Sheep so they could enter His Kingdom.

Did you ever diligently seek Him? Did you find Him?

At times, like the one we are facing right now, it is hard to press on, isn’t it? In the middle of this worldwide pandemic things can look even darker and hopeless. But as Christians we are not to lose sight of what lies ahead of us — eternal life with Him in Heaven.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

Revelation 21:4

🙌 Hallelujah!

Yes, that will be there and then, but we are in the here and now. So, how can we be completely confident? Paul wrote:

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

All through the year, but especially when times are rough, we need to stay close, very close, to the LORD Jesus. We need to lift up our hands and praise Him — daily!

Know where to find Him. Love Him. Read His Word today.
