Slow Cooker — Perfect Cooking Appliance During Times of Rest

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Colossians 1:16

LORD Jesus, we praise You for all that You are providing so graciously for us. Forgive us, O God, whenever we take things lightly or are discontent with what we have. Remind us that all things were created through You and for You. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.

Months ago, in The Slow Cooker, I introduced you to one of my favorite cooking appliances. I also shared with you how convenient it is during times of rest:

Just prepare the food, put it into the cooker/s, turn on the heat, and pay attention to more important things — all day long. In other words, it’s the perfect cooking appliance before or during your time of rest. 😉

Rest — Yes, the slow cooker makes preparations and cooking for Sabbath so much easier. I posted one recipe (Sauce Bolognese) in February’s post already. Hungry for more? Stay tuned and look out for post about cooking on the Sabbath in the near future.

Praise Him for all that He has done and provided for you.
