Revive Us Again

Will You not revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?

Psalm 85:6

LORD Jesus, we praise You for saving us from our sins. How amazing is Your Grace that You have for us. Let us remember the day and the hour, back then when You have opened our eyes and have called us by name. Enable us to praise You, God Almighty. All the glory be to You — for You alone are worthy to be praised! Help us, O LORD, we ask, and revive us again that we may glorify Your great name among the people. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.

Have we lost to see the beauty and power of Christ the LORD? Do we seek Him but find Him not? Has He gone away?

LORD Jesus, revive us again!

Do we fail to see, confess, and ask for forgiveness of sin in our life? Isn’t it tempting to think we are (doing) better than others? Would we say that we have no sin?

LORD Jesus, revive us again!

Are we truly convinced that God Almighty is still in control and above all that is going on inside of our heart and around the world? Do we honestly believe He still loves us?

LORD Jesus, revive us again!

Have we grown cold in love for our brothers and sisters in Christ? When the world looks at our family, the Household of God, what do the people see? Will they stand amazed and wonder how great our God is? Or will they see how we long for their approval?

LORD Jesus, revive us again!

What things are at the top of our prayer list these days? Protection of our finances? For the LORD to keep us safe and healthy? That God will watch over our family and friends? For the lost to repent and be saved?

LORD Jesus, revive us again!
