In Trouble Draw Nearer to Him

I wait for the LORD,
my soul waits,
And in His Word I do hope.

Psalm 130:5

LORD Jesus, we praise You for being our Light and Salvation. Help us, O LORD, we pray, to be still and to wait for You. We want to find rest in You alone, Christ Jesus. Guide us so that our soul waits on You. Let us seek hope in Your Word and give all the glory to You. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.

What is happening in your life right now? Are you facing a trial at the moment? Has your power and peace gone out the window? Do you feel left alone?

Praise Him! Praise Him? Yes, sister, life up your hands and praise the LORD who is God Almighty.

In the book of James, chapter 1, we are told to count it all joy when we are facing various trials. Joy? How can we have joy in the midst of troublesome times? That doesn’t make sense, does it? It completely goes against our nature, doesn’t it?

Rejoice in Him! Rejoice in Him? Yes, precious sister, rejoice in the God of your salvation.

David said in Psalm 34:1-4 that he would bless the LORD at all times, he would boast in the LORD, and that it was the LORD who heard him and delivered him from all his fears.

Precious sister, no matter what is happening in your life right now; if you are facing a trial at the moment and you are feeling weak, not at peace, and all alone, remember:

Bless the LORD! Magnify Him and exalt His name! Seek Him today!

This is a beautiful song written by Lara Martin called “More Of You” — I hope you are blessed by listening to it today:
