Psalm Singing

Sing aloud to God our strength;
Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob.

Psalm 81:1

Sing aloud to God our strength. We might not be able to sing aloud or play an instrument early in the morning, but we can still make melody in our hearts to the LORD (Ephesians 5:19).

Sing a psalm. Psalm singing, praising the the LORD, is a wonderful way to divert thoughts that cause us to worry back to our great God. There are different hymnals and songs out there to choose from. Here is an example of singing the Old 100, and here is a videoclip of a modern version of Psalm 23 by Stuart Townend:

Sing and make melody in your heart to the LORD!
