Refuge in God

How is your Bible reading coming along this year? Are you following a Bible reading plan or do you prefer to study single books in God’s Word? (If you need a plan there is one provided in the sidebar.) No matter if you are on top of your readings or if you have missed a few: Don’t give up! Keep on reading!

So many reading plans have only a few weeks during the year scheduled for the Psalms. But I love to read one every day. We are following a slightly adjusted version of The Legacy Bible Reading Plan. Our monthly BRP (Bible Reading Plan) is available for free and to download (pdf) — see the side navigation bar — and includes reading through the psalms twice a year. For more information see also my page Bible Version Used.

Especially with so much going on at the moment concerning the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak we need to turn (again) to the Word of God. I found great comfort while reading through Psalm 62 last Friday where it says:

1 Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.

Take some time out, sit down, pray, and read through all the verses — and be blessed.

About Mirjam Fels

Born in Germany and called in the US to be a child of God in 1992. I'm now living in the Sunny South East of Ireland where I enjoy being a helper, homemaker, and writer. Some of my hobbies are baking breads and apple crumble cakes, knitting socks, crocheting things for the home, and sewing. I love to write about biblical womanhood, dog training, home education, and writing — all from a Christian perspective.
