Modesty Panel

Trying to find modest clothing is like looking for a needle in a haystack — nearly impossible. I say nearly, because even in our day and age it is still possible to dress modestly. How?

If you read Modesty — An Introduction you are familiar with these words. In that post I mentioned that modest apparel should concern us. How and where do we find modest clothing, though?

Nearly all of the shirts and dresses we buy in this day and age have a very low cut neckline while most of the skirts and dresses don’t nearly reach knee-length. They were designed and made to reveal and seduce.

We are told in 1 Corinthians 8 though:

Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

You can alter your clothing for it to become suitable, modest and so that it won’t make your brother stumble. How? For example, lengthen a skirt or dress by sewing a piece of fabric or lace unto it. Wear something underneath a low cut shirt or dress to cover the cleavage.

Cleavage Cover

Keywords to find products to cover cleavage are: bandeau, cami, clip on mock camisole, cleavage cover, mock blouse, and modesty panels.

Modesty Panels come in all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes. They can be clipped unto your bra or top. You can also make them or sew a piece of cloth or lace unto your bra or shirt or dress neckline.
